Blueprint Gaming is the Newark-based slot studio behind Fishin’ Frenzy, Eye of Horus, The Goonies and the Jackpot King progressive network. It is a member of the Merkur Group, the German gaming group formerly known as the Gauselmann Group, and it supplies its games to licensed online casinos rather than running any of its own.
We cover ownership, the best Blueprint Gaming slots, the licensed Megaways range, jackpots and the detail most sites skip: each Blueprint game comes in several RTP versions, and the casino picks one. Facts come from blueprintgaming.com, Companies House, the UKGC and MGA registers and named trade sources, checked on 18 October 2026.
Short answer: it is a UK-licensed, slot-only studio with a huge release rate, strong licensed brands and an established jackpot network. It is also unusually open about RTP, listing every version on its game pages. The catch is in those lists: recent releases mostly top out at 94โ95%, and lower base-game versions go down to 90%, so check the figure in the game before you play.

Who Is Blueprint Gaming? Owners, Companies and History
Blueprint Gaming Ltd is registered at Companies House as company 06225948, with its office at Blueprint House, Northern Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire. The current company was incorporated on 25 April 2007 as Blueprint Entertainment UK Limited and took the Blueprint Gaming name in March 2010. Some supplier profiles say the business dates from 2001, but we found no primary source for that year.
Ownership is clear from the filings. The FY2024 accounts name Blueprint Gaming Inc., a US company, as the immediate parent, Gauselmann AG in Germany as the ultimate parent, and the trustees of the Gauselmann family trust as the controlling party. Blueprint’s own news describes it as “a member of the Merkur Group”, the name the Gauselmann Group now uses. Reports that the group took a stake in 2008 and full control in 2012 come only from secondary sources.
Blueprint Gaming Limited and Its Sister Companies
Searches for “Blueprint Gaming Limited” often turn up several similar names. This is how they fit together, from Companies House, the regulators’ registers and Blueprint’s own licence statement:

What the Accounts Show
The company files full audited accounts. For 2024 it reported turnover of ยฃ70.3m (2023: ยฃ58.0m) and a pre-tax profit of ยฃ33.4m (2023: ยฃ17.8m), which its strategic report called “another record year in both revenue and profit”. About ยฃ5.0m of that profit was interest from group companies. Turnover from outside the UK rose to ยฃ58.0m (2023: ยฃ39.6m) while UK turnover fell to ยฃ12.3m, and the company averaged 111 staff. These figures cover this one company, not the whole Blueprint group.

Blueprint Gaming Games: What the Catalogue Includes
The official game showcase held 267 entries when we checked. That figure counts every version separately: a hit game can appear as the base slot plus Jackpot King, Jackpot Royale, Rapid Fire and regional “UK Only” or “ONT & AB” releases. The number of distinct Blueprint Gaming games is therefore much lower, and the 100 to 460-plus totals on other sites mostly reflect different counting methods.
The pace is fast. The showcase has 81 entries dated 2025 and 70 dated 2026 up to 15 October, or 44 and 39 if you leave out jackpot versions. The newest when we checked was Ted Stuffed & Loaded (15 October 2026).
- Branded slots: licensed brands include Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Goonies, The Flintstones, Ted, Deal or No Deal and Yogi Bear.
- Power Play: 68 entries carry this tag; on their pages it is a higher-stake mode with its own bet range and, on some, a higher max win.
- Fortune Play: an optional paid mode. On Fishin’ Frenzy Fortune Play, the page says you can pay 20x your bet to play four windows with the fisherman always active, with separate RTPs for the base game (94.95%) and Fortune Play (96.13%).
- Bonus buy: 25 entries carry the Bonus/VIP Pass tag, among them Napoleon Deluxe, Triple Power Cash Strike, Wolf Legend Megaways and Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways. Whether a casino offers the buy depends on the game and the market.
- Instant win: one game, Fishin’ Frenzy Prize Lines.
Does Blueprint Gaming Make Roulette or Blackjack?
Not in its current online range, so if you want Blueprint Gaming blackjack or roulette online, you will not find it on the studio’s list. The showcase has a “Table” filter, but it returned no games, and none of the 267 entries is a roulette, blackjack, baccarat or poker game. The showcase lists no live-dealer games either.
Trade press reported table games in the past, such as Blackjack Player’s Choice with Galaxy Gaming side bets in 2023, but they are not on the showcase today. Searches for Blueprint Gaming roulette mostly turn up the electronic roulette machines of the land-based business.
Blueprint Gaming Software: How Casinos Get the Games
Blueprint Gaming software is sold business to business: as a slot provider, the studio licenses its games to operators. Companies House files the company under software development for interactive entertainment, and its UKGC game host licence lets it run games for casinos from its own remote game server, which trade press described in 2017.
Operators log in through an Operator Portal on its site. Some casinos connect directly: Lottomart announced a direct integration in September 2025, according to trade press, while others take the games through aggregators. For you, the Blueprint Gaming casino software matters less than the casino running it, because the casino sets the RTP version and holds your money.

We picked the studio’s biggest families and its newest licensed releases, and show only what Blueprint’s own pages state. Volatility is its own five-dot scale, and stake ranges are global. Blueprint’s pages show a max win only for newer games, so we leave the rest blank rather than copy unreliable figures.

Fishin' Frenzy and Eye of Horus
Fishin’ Frenzy is a 10-line fishing slot with up to 20 free games and a win gamble. With 34 showcase entries it is the studio’s largest family. Eye of Horus is a 10-line Egyptian slot with expanding wilds and up to 12 free games. Both carry the top five-dot volatility rating.
Branded Slots: The Goonies, Game of Thrones and Ted
Licensed film and TV brands are a Blueprint speciality. Game of Thrones, made under licence from Warner Bros. Discovery according to trade press, arrived on 26 March 2026 with 4,096 ways and a 17,000x max win, second only to Napoleon Deluxe (20,000x) among the Blueprint pages that show one.
Game of Thrones is a collect slot: five Collect features tied to the Night’s Watch and the Houses, 10 Iron Throne Spins with every unlocked Collect active, and a Seven Kingdoms map that unlocks upgrades. In The Goonies (2018), a glowing Skeleton Key can award one of seven modifiers on any spin, and three or more One-Eyed Willy symbols lead to the bonus rounds, six in all according to Blueprint.
House of the Dragon followed on 24 September 2026. Rick And Morty Strike Back (25 July 2024) lists 92%, 93% and 95% versions and a 10,000x max win.
King Kong Cash and Cash Strike
King Kong Cash (2017) is a 20-line slot with five bonus games, and its 95.79% single version makes it a straightforward pick. Cash Strike is a long-running classic-style series: games such as Cash Strike Hotstepper 2 use just five lines with max wins above 10,000x, and 12 of its 15 base-game entries offer Power Play modes.

Blueprint Gaming Megaways: Licensed From Big Time Gaming
Megaways is Big Time Gaming’s mechanic, in which the number of symbols on each reel changes every spin. Trade press reported on 1 May 2018 that Big Time Gaming had licensed it to Blueprint, and Blueprint’s own Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways page still says the mechanic is used “Under license from Big Time Gaming”. Diamond Mine Megaways, released the same day, was the first.
The showcase now lists 48 Blueprint Gaming Megaways entries, 30 of them dated 2024 to 2026. Ways run up to 117,649 on Diamond Mine and Deal or No Deal Megaways, up to 15,625 on Eye of Horus Megaways and Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways, and some newer games use fixed counts such as 3,125. Eye of Horus Gold Spins Megaways (3 September 2026) is the latest.
Blueprint Gaming Megaways slots follow the same RTP rules as the rest of the range. Older ones such as Diamond Mine (96.43%) and Bison Rising (96.50%) have top versions above 96%, while 2025 and 2026 Megaways releases mostly top out at 94% or 95%.
Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways also has a bonus-buy mode, listed as the “Fishin’ Frenzy Bonus Bet” with stakes of ยฃ10 to ยฃ1,000 and its own RTP: 96.60% on the high setting or 95.50% on the low one, against 96.10% and 95.02% for normal play. Buy features are not offered in every market or at every casino.
Jackpot King, Jackpot Royale and Rapid Fire
Jackpot King is Blueprint’s own linked progressive system, added on top of existing games. Its game pages say a cash prize or progressive jackpot “can be won on any spin”. Trade press in 2019 described three pots: the main Jackpot King pot plus two smaller pots, Royal and Regal, which must drop before reaching ยฃ3,500 and ยฃ35,000. In Ontario and Alberta the same idea runs as Jackpot Royale.
Rapid Fire Jackpots arrived in mid-2024. Blueprint says five Rapid Fire symbols trigger a wheel with prizes of 5x to 1,000x the stake or one of five progressive pots, from about 250 to 7,500 (pounds or euros). Canadian releases carry a similar five-pot feature called Jackpot Royale Express.
The largest Jackpot King win we found is โฌ8,133,445.23, won at PokerStars Casino on 30 April 2021 on Deal or No Deal Megaways from a โฌ0.80 stake, as Casino News Daily and SoloAzar reported from Blueprint’s announcement. A ยฃ3.6m win on The Goonies: Jackpot King at PlayOJO in February 2026 was also reported.

Jackpot Odds: What You Should Know
Blueprint states the RTP of jackpot versions as a base figure plus a jackpot share it does not quantify, for example “93.5% + JK %” on Game of Thrones Jackpot King. Part of every stake builds the pots, but those pots are paid to very few players. For nearly everyone, the realistic return is the base figure, which on jackpot versions is often a little lower than the standalone game’s matching version.
Wins like the 2021 record are extremely rare outliers. Play a jackpot slot only with money you are prepared to lose, and never raise your stake to “chase” a growing pot.
Blueprint Gaming RTP: Every Game Has Several Versions
RTP (return to player) is the share of all stakes a slot is designed to pay back over millions of spins. Each Blueprint game page has a “Game ID & RTP” box listing every version the studio offers casinos, each with its own ID: BP_FishingFrenzy90 is the 90% version of Fishin’ Frenzy, for example. The casino picks one, and nothing on the page tells you which version a given casino runs.
That openness is rare: most other pages quote one Blueprint Gaming RTP per game as if no other existed, and the “average” Blueprint Gaming slots RTP figures you see elsewhere, from 95% to 96%, ignore versions altogether. Of the 267 entries, 245 list two or more versions.

Counting the highest base version of each of the 149 entries that are not jackpot versions, the average is 95.08% and the median 95.0%, and the table shows the drift. In 2026, 21 of 39 top out at 94% to 95%, so on just over half of this year’s new slots the best RTP available is about 94%. The highest figure we found anywhere is 97.01%, for Bison Rising Megaways with its Bison Bet (96.50% without).
In money terms, on ยฃ1,000 of total stakes Fishin’ Frenzy’s 96.12% version is designed to return about ยฃ961 and its 90% version about ยฃ900. That is a theoretical gap of about ยฃ61 for an identical-looking game. These are long-run averages: any session can end far above or below them.
Figures That Disagree Elsewhere
Comparing third-party pages with Blueprint’s own data turns up the same mismatches again and again:
- Game of Thrones max win is 17,000x on the official page; a large affiliate site showed 170,000 when we checked on 18 October 2026.
- Game of Thrones RTP is quoted as a flat 94%, but 94% is only its top version.
- Highest RTP: some sites credit Deal or No Deal: Go All The Way with 97.36%, or Rick and Morty Megaways with 97.16% or 96.55%. Neither title is on the current showcase, whose highest figure is 97.01%.
- Fishin’ Frenzy max win: other sites give anything from 5,000x to 50,000x. Blueprint’s page shows none.
How to Check Which Blueprint Gaming RTP Version Your Casino Runs

Volatility Dots and Max Wins
Blueprint rates volatility with up to five dots and gives no named levels. Across the showcase, 141 entries have four dots, 77 three and 49 five; none has fewer. Higher volatility means longer dry spells between bigger wins, so balances can drain faster. Max wins appear on 176 pages, mostly newer ones. A max win is a ceiling that very few spins reach, not a typical result. Every spin is independent, so no game is ever “due” a win.

Blueprint Gaming Fruit Machines and Land-Based Roots
If you searched for Blueprint Gaming fruit machines, you are probably looking at the group’s land-based side. In Britain, a fruit machine is the pub or arcade gaming machine, which the trade calls an AWP (amusement with prizes). Blueprint Operations Limited holds a non-remote UKGC licence for gaming machine technical work and gambling software, which is what a supplier of physical machines needs. Companies House lists Merkur Gaming UK Limited as its owner, and it shares a director with the studio.
Its own site, blueprintoperations.com, is the one that ranks for searches about Blueprint Gaming machines.
The link to the online studio is close. The studio’s 2024 strategic report names “additional machine placements” as a growth driver, and trade press reported its purchases of Games Warehouse (2018), Project (2019) and the land-based developer Livewire Gaming (2019). We do not cover machine sales or prices.
The Merkur connection also touches two famous names. Trade press reported in October 2017 that Blueprint added top-performing Merkur and Reel Time Gaming games, including Eye of Horus and Fishin’ Frenzy, to its online game server, which probably explains the 1 November 2017 date Blueprint lists for both. Earlier dates elsewhere may refer to earlier versions; we could not verify where each game first appeared.
Blueprint Gaming Licences and Regulators
Two licences are confirmed on the regulators’ own registers. On the UKGC public register, Blueprint Gaming Limited (account 6516) holds active remote licences for gambling software (from 2013), game hosting for casino games (from 2017) and gaming machine technical work, with “no regulatory actions” recorded. Blueprint says this account also covers Blueprint Technologies Ltd and its Gibraltar company.
On the MGA register, Blueprint Technologies (Malta) Ltd holds B2B Critical Supply licence MGA/B2B/684/2019. Read our reviews of the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority, or browse all gambling authorities.
The site footer also shows the Gibraltar and Alderney regulators’ logos, and the company’s FY2024 strategic report refers to its Alderney (AGCC) and Gibraltar licences. We could not find licence numbers on either regulator’s register, so we have not listed them. Blueprint says GLI audits its responsible-gambling practices. We found no statement naming the labs that test its games.
Where Blueprint Gaming Slots Are Available
Each game page lists its “Supported Jurisdictions”, and they vary by game. The UK, Malta, Gibraltar and Alderney appear on most; Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and Ontario on about six in ten. A studio approval lets casinos offer a game in a market; it does not license the casino.

Pฤcฤnele Blueprint Gaming: Is It Still in Romania?
“Pฤcฤnele” is the Romanian word for slot machines, so searches for “pacanele Blueprint Gaming” come mostly from Romania.
Blueprint gained Romanian certification in 2018, according to iGaming Business. On 10 January 2026, Romanian business site Profit.ro reported that Blueprint had decided not to renew its licence and would leave the market by the end of that month. It quoted Merkur Group as saying expected revenues did not justify the rising costs of licensing and compliance.
This is a single secondary source, and we could not reach the Romanian regulator’s register. None of the 267 game pages lists Romania as a supported jurisdiction, though Romanian is still one of the languages on many.
Is Blueprint Gaming Safe? Reputation and Record
On the evidence we found, yes. Its UK licences have been active since 2013, with no regulatory actions on the register, the MGA page lists no enforcement, and the company publishes audited accounts. We found no fines or sanctions in the sources we checked, though that search was not exhaustive.
On safer gambling, Blueprint says its practices are audited by GLI and accredited by the Global Gambling Guidance Group, and it links to GamCare and GambleAware. It also notes it has no direct relationship with the people who play its games: the casino is responsible for your account, limits and payments.
We could confirm no awards. Slot databases list award nominations, but we found none confirmed by an awarding body, so we leave them out.

- A founding year before 2007. “2001” appears only in third-party profiles.
- When the Gauselmann Group bought in. The 2008 and 2012 dates are secondary.
- Gibraltar and Alderney licence numbers. The accounts mention both licences, but we could not check the registers.
- Test labs for the games’ RNG and RTP.
- Romania’s status on the regulator’s own register.
- Jackpot King’s launch year and lifetime payouts.
