What Is Ezugi? Founders, Owner and Structure

The studio dates from 2012, the founding year given on both the company website and Evolution’s brand page. It describes itself as a live casino company supplying “online operators, land-based casinos, and betting shops”. When Evolution agreed to buy it on 21 November 2018, the announcement named Kfir Kugler as its founder and CEO. Today’s chief executive, according to the company’s October 2026 release, is Gilad Ben-Ami.

The deal was all cash: an initial USD 12 million plus possible additional payments of up to USD 6 million, with completion planned for early 2019. Evolution expected the deal to add 2–4% to its 2019 revenue. The studio’s own news page says it has been part of the group since January 2019, which is why you will see both 2018 (the agreement) and 2019 (completion) quoted.

Evolution’s 2025 annual report shows the structure. Ezugi NV, registered in Curaçao (company number 126712), is wholly owned through Evolution Malta Holding Ltd, and the report lists matching entities in Romania and the Isle of Man too. Evolution does not report the brand’s revenue or headcount separately, so we cannot tell you how big it is inside the group.

Evolution Ezugi: Are Ezugi Games Evo Games?

Partly. Anyone searching for “Ezugi Evo games” is right that both brands belong to the same company, but the games are separate products. Evolution’s annual report calls the two its live casino and live game show brands, each with its own titles. The group’s slots come from other studios: NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming, Nolimit City, Sneaky Slots and Tap-A-Roo.

The Evolution Ezugi link shows in three places:

• Distribution: the studio joined Evolution’s One Stop Shop (OSS) in 2023, so a casino that integrates once can offer both brands, plus NetEnt and the other group studios.
• The UK licence: it supplies British players under Evolution’s UK Gambling Commission licence (more below).
• US studios: since October 2025, when Evolution relaunched the studio as its second live brand in the US, its New Jersey tables have streamed from Evolution’s Atlantic City studio. Evolution’s Grand Rapids studio in Michigan, announced in May 2026, carries the brand’s tables too.

Ezugi Games: The Full Live Casino Line-Up

The company says it has 40 live casino games. Its all-games lobby showed 63 tiles when we checked, because it counts language versions, land-based tables and RNG titles separately, and a “Load more” button suggests the list may go further. The lobby filters show where the focus lies: Blackjack, Baccarat & Sic Bo, Roulette, EZ Dealer, Poker, Dragon Tiger & Sic Bo, Hi Lo, EZ Arcade, Land based, RNG games and Indian Games.

Evolution’s annual report says the group launched 22 new live casino games in 2025, eight of them from the studio. These are the Ezugi casino games you are most likely to meet in a live lobby. Most are Ezugi live dealer games; the RNG and land-based rows work differently:

Ezugi Live Blackjack: Unlimited, Salon Privé and Bet Behind

Ezugi blackjack comes in more versions than most players expect: the lobby lists ten tables, from Unlimited and Gold Blackjack to VIP Surrender and Salon Privé. Unlimited Blackjack and Canada Blackjack were among the headline titles in its 2025 PokerStars and PointsBet announcements.

Unlimited Blackjack lets any number of players sit against the dealer, so nobody waits for a seat. The game page describes Auto-Split on specific pairs, after which you continue with one or two hands, plus the side bets Perfect Pairs, 21+3, Perfect 11 and Ten20. Trade press reported in August 2016 that Golden Nugget partnered with the studio for New Jersey’s first online live dealer offering, and in 2019 that the two shared Best New Game at the EGR North America Awards for Unlimited Blackjack.

Other versions suit other players. VIP Surrender Blackjack offers Early Surrender: if the dealer’s first card is an Ace, you can give up the hand for half your bet back. Blackjack Salon Privé (2022) is a private table where one player can take all seven seats, with no betting timer and the option to ask for a shoe change. Video Blackjack (February 2023) seats up to seven players who share video and audio, in portrait mode on mobile, under standard European blackjack rules.

When a standard table is full, Bet Behind lets you back a seated player’s hand on select tables. According to the company, you can double when they double, split when they split (or stay with the right-hand hand only), and take or decline insurance with them. The house edge still depends on the deck count, the dealer’s soft-17 rule and your side bets, so read the rules at the table, as shown in our how-to below.

Ezugi Baccarat: From EZ Baccarat to Knockout Baccarat

In October 2023 the company opened a new baccarat studio and interface, carrying Baccarat, No Commission Baccarat, Speed Baccarat, Speed Cricket Baccarat, Knockout Baccarat and Dragon Tiger. That release named no location, but its baccarat pages say classic baccarat streams from its European and Latin American studios. Tables show roads and live statistics, which record past rounds and do not predict the next one.

EZ Baccarat, a well-known North American land-based baccarat brand with Galaxy Gaming’s Panda 8 and Dragon 7 side bets, is the studio’s most prominent baccarat table in the US. It led the October 2025 relaunch and is one of two games Evolution named for the brand at its Grand Rapids studio. No Commission Baccarat changes how the Banker bet is paid, so check the rules screen for the exact payout.

Casino Hold'em, Teen Patti, Sic Bo and Dragon Tiger

The poker and dice tables are where the line-up differs most from a standard live lobby. Casino Hold’em is a Texas Hold’em variation in which any number of players compete against the dealer. The game page puts the top Ante payout at 100:1, adds an optional Bonus bet, and offers a Casino Razz Bonus on low hands from Jack high to Six high, paying up to 200:1.

The Teen Patti pages describe a three-card game in which the dealer needs at least Queen high to qualify, with main-game payouts from 1:1 to 5:1. The Pair or Better side bet pays up to 100:1, and the 3+3 Bonus, which combines your cards with the dealer’s, up to 1,000:1.

Sic Bo asks you to predict a shake of three dice. Ultimate Sic Bo, released in April 2022, adds multipliers of up to 1,000x, applied at random to some bet spots just before the shake. Dragon Tiger is a two-card version of baccarat: you bet on Dragon, Tiger or a tie. Xoc Dia, a Vietnamese game played with four red-and-white chips, has a multiplier version, Ultimate Flip, with boosted outcomes of up to 50:1. Neither Ultimate title had a tile in the lobby we read.

Ezugi Roulette: Auto, Ultimate, Revolution and Arcade

Ezugi roulette is the deepest category in the lobby. Auto Roulette comes with European and American wheel options, according to its game page, and there are language and market versions (Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Roleta da Sorte, Ruleta Del Sol) plus themed Auto Roulette tables built around football, horse racing and cricket. The roulette pages also name Speed Roulette and Diamond Roulette.

Speed Auto Roulette is fully automated and, according to the company, runs 60 to 80 games per hour, with betting during the spin only. The newer titles add multipliers:

• Ultimate Roulette (March 2023) was, in the company’s words, its first live game show. The launch release describes a circus theme, five Lucky Numbers with multipliers from 50x to 1,000x, the option to buy up to three extra numbers, and multipliers that can double to 2,000x.
• Revolution Roulette adds 2x, 3x and 5x multiplier pockets that can stack up to 10x.
• Arcade Roulette (September 2026) uses an autonomous claw to pick up the winning number ball. An optional multiplier mode pays up to 500x on the network table and up to 1,000x on selected dedicated tables.
• American and Triple Zero Roulette use wheels with extra zero pockets, which raises the house edge. The American Roulette page itself quotes 5.3% (see the RTP section). Triple Zero Roulette is one of the games named for the Grand Rapids studio.

Indian and Local Games: Andar Bahar, Teen Patti and Cricket War

Local content is the studio’s clearest specialism. In a February 2020 interview it said it had introduced Andar Bahar and Teen Patti in 2019, and called itself the “market leader and premium provider of Indian games”. That is the company’s own description.

• Andar Bahar: the traditional Indian card game, in which you guess which side gets the card matching the Joker. Ultimate Andar Bahar (November 2022) adds 2x, 3x and 5x multipliers worth up to 125x on the main bet and up to 500x on its eight side bets.
• Teen Patti: Teen Patti 3 Card, One Day Teen Patti Classic and Bet on Teen Patti.
• Cricket War (October 2021): a two-card game in the style of Casino War, Bowler against Batsman, joined by Cricket Auto Roulette, Cricket Ball Roulette and Speed Cricket Baccarat.
• Lucky 7, launched for Indian players: one card per round, with Lucky 7 paying 11:1. Xoc Dia serves Vietnamese players.

Trade press reported in 2020 that an Indian games suite including Andar Bahar, Teen Patti and Lucky 7 launched with Hollywoodbets in South Africa. Indian-themed games do not mean Indian licensing: we found no primary source showing the studio is licensed in India. Check the law where you live before you play.

EZ Dealer Roulette: One Game, Ten Local Versions

EZ Dealer Roulette shows the studio’s localisation best. It is a hybrid: pre-recorded dealer video, with the winning number chosen by what the company calls an independently certified random number generator. Evolution says the format suits markets where live dealers may not be permitted.

The lobby lists ten versions: English, Roleta Brasileira, Chinese-Mandarin, Hindi, Japanese, Latina, Nederlands, Savanna, Thai and Turkish, and the English-language page lists nine languages, including Spanish and Dutch. The Thai (August 2022) and Brazilian Portuguese (May 2023) editions had their own launch releases. Because the result comes from an RNG, this is not a live game, even though a dealer appears on screen.

RNG and Arcade Titles: Marble Race, Speed Bingo and More

The newer releases lean on RNG maths with live-style presentation:

• EZ Marble Race Monaco (July 2025): pre-recorded race footage with licensed RNG technology, five marbles and payouts up to 71:1. A Bally’s-branded version launched in the UK with Bally’s Intralot in March 2026.
• EZ Speed Bingo 90 (June 2025), a fast-paced bingo game.
• EZ Arcade titles such as Magic Claw, Fortune Pusher, Auto Claw Roulette, Coin Rush and Coin Rush Pro (June 2025).
• Big Cock Knockout (13 October 2026): an animated rooster knockout game with no live dealer, 17 characters, four per round and random multipliers. The release says it uses an RNG maths model inspired by Evolution’s Stock Market and Race Track.

Ezugi Slots: Why You Won't Find Any

We found no Ezugi slots. Neither the company’s site, Evolution’s brand page nor Evolution’s 2025 annual report lists a slot, Megaways or progressive jackpot product from the studio. Trade press reported a Jackpot Roulette launch in 2020, but its page now shows unrelated text and the game is not in the current lobby. Some aggregator sites count live tables and their variants as “slots”; they are not, and nor are the RNG titles above.

Ezugi Live Casino on Mobile

The studio says all its games work on desktop and mobile, and its 2020 interview described an HTML5-based version 3.0 of its platform. Video Blackjack is built for portrait mode. We have not run device tests, and stream quality also depends on your connection and the casino’s app.

Ezugi Live Casino Studios: Where the Tables Are

The company’s home page claims “11 Studios and Land Based Casinos”. That figure includes tables streamed from real casinos, and it has moved over the years: trade press reported nine studios in 2018 and 12 in 2021. Neither the studio nor Evolution publishes a full list, so these are the locations named in official sources:

• Bucharest, Romania: the company says its flagship studio launched there in 2019. Evolution’s annual report lists a group company in Romania, and the studio lists a Romanian ONJN licence.
• Colombia: the Rumba Blackjack page says that table streams from its studio in Colombia, with native Spanish-speaking dealers.
• Colombo, Sri Lanka: in its February 2020 interview the company said it would soft-launch three tables from Marina Casino in January 2020. Casino Marina tables are still in the lobby.
• Atlantic City, New Jersey: its New Jersey tables have streamed from Evolution’s Atlantic City studio since October 2025.
• Grand Rapids, Michigan: Evolution’s studio, announced in May 2026, offers games “through both Evolution and its sister brand, Ezugi”, with EZ Baccarat and Triple Zero Roulette named for the brand.
• Empire Casino, London: an Over-The-Table (OTT) roulette stream from Leicester Square, launched with Metropolitan Gaming in January 2026.

The Over-The-Table roulette pages (Casino Marina, Oracle 360, Portomaso, Ruleta Del Sol and VIP Roulette) share one line, “Streamed live from Malta, Colombia, and Sri Lanka”, without naming each venue. To compare Ezugi live casino studios with other providers, see our Live Casino Studios hub.

Ezugi RTP and House Edge: What the Numbers Mean

The studio publishes no RTP (return to player) table. The only house-edge figure we found on its site is 5.3%, on the American Roulette page, and some game pages quote top payouts, such as up to 100:1 on Casino Hold’em or 11:1 on Lucky 7. Its games overview page shows “RTP: 30%” next to every game, along with identical dealer languages and limits. That is template placeholder text, not real data, so ignore it.

Live tables work differently from slots. Their return comes from the rules and the payout for each bet, which you can read in the game’s help screen. We found no statement that the studio offers casinos several RTP versions of a table, as many slot studios do, but we could not rule it out either. For roulette, the wheel itself tells you a lot. These figures are simple maths for tables that pay the standard 35:1 on a single number:

Ezugi Demo and Ezugi Free Play: What Is Possible

Live dealer games are real-money streams: a real dealer deals real cards against real bets, so live tables rarely come in a free version. We found no playable official demo of its live games. Many results for “Ezugi free” or “Ezugi demo” are spam app pages, so avoid downloading anything they offer.

The RNG and hybrid titles are different. Games such as EZ Dealer Roulette and EZ Marble Race do not need a live dealer, so play-money versions are possible. Where one is available, you can try it in our game reviews.

• Play money only: demo credits have no cash value, and nothing you win can be withdrawn or moved to a real-money account.
• Age checks still apply: UK-licensed casinos must verify your age before letting you play free games.
• Demos predict nothing: a good run in play money says nothing about your next real bet.

Ezugi Licences and Certifications: What We Could Check

The company publishes a regulated markets page with 22 entries. Read it carefully: it labels most entries “Certification” or “Certificate”, not licence. We list them as it publishes them and show which we checked on a regulator’s own register.

Is Ezugi Safe and Legit? Reputation and Group Context

We found no fine, settlement, licence action or lawsuit naming Ezugi itself in the sources we checked. That search covered the UKGC register, the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s licence registry and enforcement register, Evolution’s reports and trade press, not every regulator and court worldwide.

The group’s record still matters, because the studio uses Evolution’s UK licence. On 23 July 2026 the UKGC published a settlement with Evolution Malta Holding Limited: a £4.75 million payment in lieu of a financial penalty for breaches of anti-money laundering licence conditions, after five Evolution games were found on six websites run by two unlicensed operators. The statement does not name the games or mention Ezugi. Evolution said the review “found no broader pattern” of unlicensed UK access.

In the US, a 2021 complaint to New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement concerned Evolution. Evolution says the regulator closed its investigation in February 2024 without finding evidence that it sanctioned or benefited from play in prohibited markets. Recordings filed in a related court case drew press coverage in 2025, and Evolution disputes the claims made about them. None of these reports or filings, as we read them, names the studio.

On the positive side, its licence list is public, its Curaçao licence is on the registry, and its parent publishes audited annual reports as a Nasdaq Stockholm-listed company.

Is There an Ezugi Casino? What the Name Really Means

No. People who search for “Ezugi casino” usually want either a casino that carries its tables or the company itself. The studio does not take bets from players. It is an online games supplier, or in industry terms an Ezugi casino games provider: it supplies tables to operators, and the operator holds your account, deposits and withdrawals. We found no player-facing casino run by the brand; the client area and partner form on its site are for businesses.

So an Ezugi games casino is simply an operator that has added the studio’s tables to its live lobby. The company claims more than 1,500 clients. Operators named in its own and Evolution’s releases include bet365, PokerStars, PointsBet, Bally’s, Metropolitan Gaming and, alongside Evolution, PlayStar in New Jersey.

The Ezugi Casino Platform and Ezugi Software Explained

The company describes itself as “a next-generation live dealer casino platform provider” supplying gaming, retention and distribution solutions. In practice, the Ezugi casino platform is a B2B product: Ezugi casino software that streams tables into an operator’s site. Since 2023 it has also been available through Evolution’s One Stop Shop, the single integration that also carries Evolution, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming and Nolimit City.

Evolution’s brand page for the studio lists further formats: Retail live games for betting shops, Over-The-Table streams of real casino tables, and private tables, which the company says come with “flexible betting limits”. All of them are sold to businesses, and none is a casino you can join.

Ezugi Casinos: How to Choose a Safe One

Ezugi casinos should be judged like any other live casino, because the differences lie in the operator. Check these before you sign up:

1. A licence where you live. In the UK that means the UKGC; in Malta, the MGA. UK players are better protected on UKGC-licensed sites.
2. Table rules and limits. The company publishes no limits table and describes “customised” and “flexible” betting limits, so minimum and maximum bets depend on the casino and table. Open the help screen, and look for single-zero roulette and clear side-bet payouts.
3. Payout terms. Look for clear withdrawal limits, timescales and verification rules.
4. Safer-gambling tools. Deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion should be easy to find.
5. Bonus terms. Live casino games are often excluded from bonus wagering or count at a reduced rate, so read the rules before you accept an offer (see our bonuses and free spins pages).

How to Recognise an Ezugi Game

Casino lobbies often lump all live tables together. These clues help you spot one:

• The “EZ” prefix: EZ Dealer Roulette, EZ Marble Race, EZ Speed Bingo and EZ Arcade titles all come from this studio. EZ Baccarat is different: it is a land-based baccarat brand, with Panda 8 and Dragon 7 side bets supplied by Galaxy Gaming, that the studio streams live.
• “Ultimate” titles: Ultimate Roulette, Ultimate Auto Roulette, Ultimate Andar Bahar and Ultimate Sic Bo. Other studios use the word too, so check the supplier.
• Themed Auto Roulette: Football, Horse Racing and Cricket versions of the automated wheel.
• Indian and local games: Andar Bahar, Teen Patti, Cricket War, Lucky 7 and Xoc Dia sit side by side in its lobby.
• The game info: the rules or help screen often names the supplier.

What We Could Not Verify

As of 17 October 2026 we could not confirm:

• RTP or house edge for any game other than American Roulette (5.3%) from an official source, or whether casinos can choose between RTP versions.
• Which test lab certifies its RNG titles.
• Register entries for the MGA, Isle of Man, Gibraltar, Spain, Romania, New Jersey and the other certifications. We checked only the UKGC and Curaçao registers.
• Which regulator covers the brand in Ontario, since Ontario is not on its list.
• Individual venue names. The OTT roulette pages say “Streamed live from Malta, Colombia, and Sri Lanka”, and only Marina Casino in Colombo is named elsewhere.
• Jackpot Roulette: trade press reported a launch in 2020, but the company’s page for it now shows unrelated text about Bet Behind blackjack, and the game is not in its lobby.
• Speed Roulette and Diamond Roulette, which the roulette pages name but which have no tile of their own in the lobby we read.
• The 2016 Golden Nugget and 2019 EGR items, which we read only in trade press, not on the organisers’ own pages.
• A headcount or revenue figure for the brand on its own.

Our Verdict on Ezugi

Ezugi is a credible, Evolution-backed live casino supplier with a clear niche. If you like Unlimited Blackjack, play Andar Bahar or Teen Patti, want roulette in your own language, or enjoy multiplier tables such as Ultimate and Revolution Roulette, the Ezugi live casino lobby offers things the bigger catalogues do not. Its UK supply runs under Evolution’s UKGC licence, and its Curaçao supplier licence is on the regulator’s registry.

The catch is transparency. With no published RTP table, placeholder data on its games page and no named test lab, you have to do the checking yourself. Open the rules before you bet, prefer single-zero wheels, and set a deposit limit first. For other studios, browse our Game Developers hub.
