No activation is needed: the code works as soon as you have it. The company says no bank, card or personal details are needed to pay, which is why it appeals to players who want to keep gambling spending away from their main account.
Two rules matter more than anything else. Payments cannot be reversed, and anyone holding the PIN can spend it, so the official safety page tells you to treat the code like cash. You can check what is left on the official Check Voucher page, and a remaining balance can stay on the PIN or be moved to another voucher.
Card, Code or Gift Card: Which Is It?
People search for a Neosurf card, a Neosurf code or a Neosurf gift card, and all three point to the same thing. The “card” is the printed voucher or receipt, not a bank card: it has no card number and no credit line. The “code” is the 10-character PIN on it.
The voucher is a payment code, not store credit. Never use one to pay private sellers or on classified or auction sites, where codes are a fraud target.
Who Is Behind Neosurf and Who Holds the Money?
The service is run by NS Cards France SAS, 58A rue du Dessous des Berges, 75013 Paris, registered under RCS Paris 478 502 321 with โฌ100,000 share capital. The French business register shows it was incorporated on 1 September 2004. Its owners are not published in the sources we checked.
NS Cards France does not present itself as a licensed French payment or e-money institution, and we found no ACPR authorisation for it on any official page. Instead, the terms say the money in circulation sits with a Maltese partner.
Per the September 2026 terms, financial flows and the face value of vouchers are held by Transact Payments Malta Limited (company C 91879), which the terms describe as licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority as a financial institution, including authorisation as an electronic money institution. That partner changed in 2026: the April 2026 terms named Andaria Financial Services Limited (C 97170) instead. We could not open the MFSA register to confirm either entry.

UK Availability: A Mixed Picture
The company signed an exclusive UK retail deal with PayPoint in September 2020, covering more than 27,000 stores at the time. Today the position is less clear. A December 2023 UK policy names Moorwand as the e-money issuer, but the FCA Register lists the UK distributor, Safe-Voucher Ltd, as a former agent since 24 December 2023, and the UK is not on the account sign-up list.
Comparison sites disagree about which UKGC-licensed casinos still offer it. If you play in Great Britain, check the cashier of a site licensed by the UK Gambling Commission before you buy. UK players are better protected on UKGC-licensed sites.

How to Buy Neosurf Online or in a Shop
There are two ways to buy. Offline, the official store locator lists points of sale such as kiosks, news stands, supermarkets and petrol stations; you pay cash and the cashier’s terminal prints a PIN. The terms say vouchers are sold for the face value printed on them, and the company markets the voucher as a way to pay by cash online for free.
To buy Neosurf online, the official site names five authorised resellers: Becharge, Dundle, Neosurf Africa, Recharge.com and StartSelect. It warns that their fees, charges or identity checks may apply, so compare the total at checkout. Online, you give an email address, choose a value and pay; the voucher details show on screen and are also emailed to you. Codes from unofficial marketplaces carry more risk, since a PIN cannot be cancelled once someone else has seen it.
Values vary by country. The official FAQ puts typical values at the equivalent of โฌ10 to โฌ150, while the official Poland page lists 20, 50, 100 and 500 PLN vouchers (20 PLN is roughly โฌ4.70). One unofficial reseller lists a โฌ5 voucher. In some countries there are also vouchers for minors; these do not work on sites that require age verification, such as licensed gambling sites.

The account is free for adults. Opening it needs no documents; identity checks unlock higher limits. It gives you a personal PIN for paying at merchants, top-ups by bank transfer in several currencies or by loading voucher PINs, a transaction history, and withdrawals to a bank account or to a cash voucher. It has iOS and Android apps.
For the Neosurf login, go to my.neosurf.com directly (email and password, or Google), and reset a forgotten password from that page. The August 2024 scam alert says never to open an account for someone else or use payment and login links from social media or email.
The main sign-up page lists 34 countries, including France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, and a separate Mexican page opens the account to legal residents of Mexico. The UK, Germany and Canada are not on the list.
Now the unusual part. A January 2023 refund guide on the official site says withdrawals and refunds go only by wire to a bank account in your name, and that you can only request a withdrawal within 30 days of creating your account.
The current FAQ, by contrast, says you can access your money at any time and withdraw to a bank account or a cash voucher, and that fees may apply. We could not confirm which rule applies to casino winnings, so ask support before you rely on the account for payouts.

Older Published Limits
Current account limits are not published. The last set we found is a December 2023 UK policy: basic accounts at ยฃ100 a day and ยฃ150 a month, PREMIUM accounts from ยฃ1,000 a day and ยฃ3,000 a month. Treat it as historical.

Worked example. You buy a โฌ50 Neosurf voucher, deposit โฌ40 at a casino with euro balances and forget the โฌ10 left on the PIN. Nothing is charged for the deposit.
If you make no payment with that PIN for three months, the terms allow a monthly service fee of “3, or equivalent in your country currency” (the PDF prints the figure without a currency sign; for a euro voucher that reads as โฌ3). The scam pattern. The company has published several warnings: in January 2023 on fake “activation” and refund sites, in February 2023 on keeping PINs safe, and in August 2024 on social-media scams. Its message is consistent. A code never needs activating, a refund never goes through a third-party site, and anyone asking you to read out a PIN is after the money.
What users say. On 20 October 2026 Trustpilot showed a score of 1.2 out of 5 from 3,373 reviews. Common complaints are locked accounts during verification, payments not credited and slow support. These are reviewers’ claims, not verified findings.
If a code is stolen, use the official contact form straight away. The official safety page says the company may be able to block the voucher, but transactions already made cannot be reversed.
