MiFinity is a prepaid, multi-currency e-wallet that many online casinos and betting sites add to their cashier. You load it by card, local bank method, crypto or prepaid voucher, pay the casino from your balance, and casinos that support it can pay winnings back. This guide shows how a MiFinity casino deposit and a MiFinity withdrawal really work, what each step costs and who regulates the company.
Short answer: it is a regulated e-money wallet, not a bank or a casino. The fee page lists no fee for paying a casino from your balance, but most top-ups cost something, and card-funded money goes back to the card first when you cash out. In 2026 the Maltese entity settled an anti-money-laundering case with Malta’s financial intelligence unit for โฌ160,099.

At a glance (checked 20 October 2026)
What Is MiFinity? How the E-Wallet Works
It is a digital wallet built on an electronic money account, not a bank account. The MiFinity eWallet holds up to nine purses, each in its own currency, for paying online merchants, receiving money and sending it abroad.
Purses come in categories: Gaming, E-Commerce and Travel (the help centre also mentions Forex). A Gaming purse is the natural home for casino money and keeps your gambling spend visible. The site advertises 18 currencies; the help-centre list names 17, including EUR, GBP, USD, CAD, AUD, SEK, NOK and PLN.
How to use MiFinity: money in, money out
- Load: cards (also through Apple Pay or Google Wallet), dozens of local methods, crypto, Wero, SEPA, a virtual IBAN or an eVoucher, depending on your country.
- Pay: choose the wallet at checkout, log in and pay from your balance.
- Cash out: to a verified card, a verified bank account in your name, or crypto.
MiFinity app: iOS and Android
Free iOS and Android apps cover topping up, sending money, tracking transactions and managing currencies. On the US App Store (read 20 October 2026) the iOS app scores 4.4 out of 5 from only 39 ratings, needs iOS 15 or later and is rated 18+. For mobile-friendly sites, see our mobile casinos page.
Codes, cards and wallets: what the terms mean
We found no MiFinity card for consumers on the official pages; the only card product named, PayAnyCard, is for businesses. The wallet works with your own cards instead. “Code” has three meanings:
| Term | What it is | Where you find it |
|---|---|---|
| 20-digit eVoucher PIN | Prepaid voucher code you redeem into the wallet | On the voucher from a reseller |
| 4-digit card verification code | Proves a card is yours after your first card deposit | On your card statement, next to "MiFinity UK LTD" |
| SMS verification code | Strong authentication for log-ins or payments; valid five minutes | Text message to your registered mobile |
| "Card" | No consumer card found; you add your own Visa, Mastercard or UnionPay | The cards list in your account |
Where the wallet works
There is no list of supported countries, only a non-serviced list of 23, including the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Iran, Cuba and North Korea. The terms say it is not exhaustive, and the top-up methods you see depend on your country.
Is MiFinity Legit? Who Runs It and Who Regulates It
Which company you deal with depends on where you live. UK and other non-EEA residents are customers of MiFinity UK Limited, listed on the FCA Register as an Authorised Electronic Money Institution, reference 900090, since 24 May 2018.
At Companies House it is company NI611169, registered in Northern Ireland, incorporated on 14 February 2012 as NXSystems Ltd and renamed on 24 May 2016. Its two directors, Paul Kavanagh and Kieron Nolan, each hold 25โ50% of the shares.
EEA residents are served by Mifinity Malta Limited (C64824), which the company says the Malta Financial Services Authority authorises as a financial institution, including for issuing e-money. We could not open the MFSA register, so that point rests on the company’s statements. Neither authorisation is a gambling licence.
Is your balance protected?
Customer money is safeguarded: kept apart from the company’s own funds, and the EEA terms say creditors have no claim on it. Both sets of terms still warn that you may lose e-money if the company becomes insolvent, and this is not deposit insurance: the account is outside the FSCS in the UK and Malta’s Depositor Compensation Scheme in the EEA.
UK complaints get an acknowledgement within three business days and a full answer, or in exceptional cases a holding reply, within 15 working days; the FCA record says the Financial Ombudsman Service may then help.
Security features
The company says it is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and encrypts all transactions. An SMS code valid for five minutes handles strong authentication, card top-ups use 3D Secure 2, and the iOS app offers biometric sign-in. It says it will never ask for your password, full card numbers or 2FA code; report suspicious messages to its phishing address, listed in the FAQ.
The 2026 FIAU settlement in Malta
On 2 September 2026 Malta’s Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIAU) published a notice on the Maltese entity after a compliance examination carried out in 2023. It imposed a โฌ266,833 administrative penalty and a Follow-Up Directive. A settlement concluded on 27 August 2026 cut the penalty by 40% (15% for admitting the breaches, 25% for remediation before FIAU intervention) to โฌ160,099. The breaches were in:
- Customer risk assessment: introduced after operations started, and delayed or missing for part of the customer base.
- Customer profiling: based mainly on transaction thresholds rather than risk assessment outcomes.
- Transaction monitoring: some alerts discounted without enough documented reasoning.
The FIAU committee called the breaches serious and systematic, while noting significant remediation and good cooperation. The published notice mentions no licence restriction, and the company said services continue as normal.
What users say
On Trustpilot, read on 20 October 2026, the wallet scored 3.5 out of 5 from 1,732 reviews: 48% one-star and 32% five-star. Complaints centre on accounts or funds held during verification and slow replies; positive reviews praise the app and quick transfers. Trustpilot does not verify reviews.

MiFinity Casino Payments: How Deposits Work
Casinos commonly embed the wallet in their cashier through a checkout window called the iFrame: you log in there and pay from your balance, so load money first. For identity checks, both sets of terms let the company pass a casino details including your name, account number, address, date of birth, email and IP address, but card and bank numbers are not on that list. Review sites describe deposits as instant; each casino sets its own limits.
How to Make an Online Casino MiFinity Deposit
-
Step 1
Load your wallet: choose Deposit, pick a method and a purse, enter the amount and confirm. Card top-ups are credited immediately but can be reversed if the funds never arrive.
-
Step 2
In the casino cashier, check that the wallet is offered for withdrawals too, then select it for your deposit.
-
Step 3
Enter an amount within the casino's limits, log in to your wallet in the window that opens and enter the SMS code if asked.
-
Step 4
Confirm. The money normally shows in your casino balance at once; if not, check the transaction in your wallet before retrying.
MiFinity Casino Withdrawal Time: The Three Clocks
A MiFinity casino withdrawal runs on three clocks, and only one belongs to the wallet:
- Casino pending period: review sites commonly report 24 to 72 hours, and a first withdrawal usually needs identity checks at the casino.
- Casino to wallet: often minutes once approved, according to the same sites.
- Wallet to you: the help centre gives 30 minutes to a few hours for crypto. No timeframe is published for withdrawals to your own card or bank account; for money sent to someone else’s bank account, it says transfers are processed within 24 hours and can take up to three to five days to arrive.
Anti-money-laundering checks can add time. So the honest MiFinity withdrawal time is minutes for the wallet’s part once the casino releases the money, and up to several working days to reach your bank. See also our fast withdrawals guide.
| Stage | Who controls it | Typical time | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casino approval | The casino | Often 24โ72 hours | Casino review sites (indicative) |
| Casino to wallet | Casino, then wallet | Often minutes after approval | Casino review sites (indicative) |
| Wallet to crypto | Wallet and Cryptopay | 30 minutes to a few hours | Official help centre |
| Wallet to your bank | Wallet, then your bank | No official timeframe (sends to other people's banks: within 24 h, up to 3โ5 days to arrive) | Official help centre (send-money section) |
| Wallet to card | Wallet and card issuer | No official timeframe | Not published |
MiFinity withdrawal vs deposit: a reality check
- Not every casino that takes deposits by the wallet pays out to it, say several review sites, so check a MiFinity casino’s withdrawal tab first.
- A MiFinity withdrawal from a casino often has a higher minimum than a deposit; review sites cite โฌ20 at some casinos against โฌ10 deposits.
- One reviewer reports that eVoucher-funded casino deposits could not be withdrawn the same way. It is a casino rule, but plan for it.
- Paying in from your MiFinity wallet balance has no listed fee; getting money out usually costs something.
MiFinity Withdrawal to Card, Bank or Crypto: The Card-First Rule
Every MiFinity withdrawal from the wallet follows strict help-centre rules:
- Money loaded by card goes back to that card first, oldest deposits first, up to the total deposited with it.
- Only the surplus, such as winnings, can go to a verified bank account or to crypto (converted by Cryptopay, with network fees). Your primary payout card is the one that funded most deposits in the last six months.
- Paying yourself through the Contacts section may delay or reverse a withdrawal.
There is no minimum withdrawal, but the amount must cover the fee, which is shown before you confirm.
MiFinity Fees and Limits: A Worked Casino Example
The full consumer schedule is on the official fees page; these rows matter most to casino players. The page doesn’t define its EEA, non-EEA and interregional card categories, so check the fee the app shows before you confirm.
| Transaction | Fee |
|---|---|
| Top up by SEPA transfer or Interac (Canada) | Free |
| Top up by Wero | 0% |
| Top up by iDEAL | Wero (Netherlands) | โฌ0.50 |
| Top up by EEA Visa or Mastercard, incl. via Apple Pay or Google Wallet | 1.8% |
| Top up by non-EEA Visa or Mastercard | 2.5% |
| Top up by interregional Visa / Mastercard | 3.5% / 4% |
| Top up by crypto | 1.8% |
| Top up by eVoucher | 4.5% (AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, USD); 5.5% (other currencies) |
| Top up by Paysafecard | 10.5% |
| Pay a casino from your balance | No fee listed |
| Withdraw to EEA Visa | โฌ1 |
| Withdraw to EEA / interregional Mastercard | โฌ1.75 / โฌ2 |
| Withdraw to crypto | 1.8% |
| Withdraw to a bank account | A fee applies but no amount is published; shown before you confirm |
| Send to friends and family | 1% (max โฌ10) |
| Currency conversion | Up to 2.99% over wholesale; up to 3.99% for exotic currencies |
| Chargeback (EEA terms) | โฌ25 |
Worked example (euro purse, fee-page figures):
- Load โฌ100 by Visa debit at the EEA rate of 1.8%: the fee is โฌ1.80.
- Pay โฌ100 to a casino from your balance: no wallet fee is listed.
- Win, and the casino pays โฌ250 into your wallet: no fee is listed for receiving money.
- The card-first rule returns โฌ100 to your Visa at the EEA Visa fee of โฌ1.
- The remaining โฌ149 (after the โฌ1 card fee) goes to your verified bank account, at a fee shown on screen but not on the fee page.
Known wallet costs: โฌ2.80, plus the bank fee and up to 2.99% for any currency conversion. Loading by SEPA or Wero would save most or all of the โฌ1.80 (iDEAL | Wero costs โฌ0.50).
Inactivity fee: two different rules
The fees page says an account becomes inactive after 12 months without a log-in and then pays โฌ1 a month. The terms define a dormant account after 24 months without activity, with the same fee and at least 30 days’ notice before it is first charged.
Limits: what is published
No general daily, monthly or per-transaction limits are published. Yours depend on verification, method and country, and show under Profile, then Limits. The figures we found:
- Your first card deposit is capped at โฌ150 until the card is verified.
- Identity checks are required once you have transacted more than โฌ150 in total.
- An older, undated help section gives a โฌ2,000 yearly send-to-bank limit, which may be raised after review.
- Casinos set their own limits on top.
MiFinity casino 5 euro: is a โฌ5 deposit possible?
We found no casino with a confirmed โฌ5 minimum for this wallet. The casino sets the minimum, and the sources we checked showed โฌ10 to โฌ20. If you redeem an eVoucher directly in a casino cashier, the smallest euro voucher in the help centre’s list is โฌ10. Check the cashier before relying on โฌ5, and run the usual licence checks on any site advertising it.
MiFinity eVoucher: Prepaid Top-Ups Without a Card
The eVoucher is a prepaid code with a 20-digit PIN, sold by authorised online resellers. Redeem it under Deposit by entering the PIN and choosing Make Payment; the money arrives immediately, minus the fee.
- Fee: 4.5% for AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP and USD vouchers, 5.5% for other currencies (fees page).
- Use: once, for the full amount, within 12 months of purchase, according to an older help article.
- Values: โฌ10 to โฌ200 and ยฃ20 to ยฃ150, per the same article.
Some casinos accept the voucher directly in their cashier if the amount matches a denomination. Plan a different payout route.
MiFinity Bank Transfer and IBAN Top-Ups
Verified EEA and UK customers can create a free virtual account: a euro IBAN with BIC, or a sterling account number and sort code. Bank transfers normally arrive within one to two business days, according to the help centre. Only EUR and GBP are received, and SEPA top-ups are free.
Your MiFinity IBAN funds the wallet; you then pay casinos from the balance. To withdraw to a bank, verify the account with a statement from the last six months showing the bank’s name, your account number and your own name. SEPA payments are name-checked under Verification of Payee. For direct options, see our bank transfer page.
Credit Cards: The UK Ban and the Belgian Rule
The terms allow credit cards, but gambling rules narrow that. Since 14 April 2020, UK Gambling Commission licensees must not accept credit-card gambling payments, and may take e-wallet payments only where the wallet provider can assure them that credit-card-funded gambling is prevented. We found nothing on the company’s pages about how it handles this, so at UK sites, load the wallet by debit card or bank transfer.
In Belgium, the EEA terms say that, following a Belgian Gaming Commission ban, credit cards have not been accepted for gaming wallets since 14 June 2021; debit and prepaid cards remain acceptable.
MiFinity Sign Up and Card Verification, Step by Step
-
Step 1
Register in the app or on the website with your mobile number, email and a password of at least eight characters mixing upper and lower case with a number or symbol. Add your personal details and enter the SMS code.
-
Step 2
Make a first card deposit, capped at โฌ150. A 4-digit code then appears on your card statement next to "MiFinity UK LTD"; Revolut users can find it in the desktop app or a downloaded statement.
-
Step 3
To verify a card on MiFinity, open your cards list, click Verify beside the card, enter the code and submit.
-
Step 4
Before you pass โฌ150 in total, complete the KYC checks: upload photo ID, a selfie holding it and, if asked, proof of address from the last three months (not a phone bill). The help centre says checks take 24 to 48 hours.
MiFinity Login, Support and Contact
Log in on the official website or in the app; a password-reset link arrives within 15 minutes. MiFinity contact options are email and a web form on the contact page (addresses in the FAQ below); we found no live chat or consumer phone line. Never enter your details on a lookalike login page.
How to Choose a MiFinity Casino or Betting Site
Search for top MiFinity casino sites, top MiFinity casinos or a top MiFinity online casino and you’ll mostly find affiliate lists that disagree and rarely show a licence. The company doesn’t rank casinos, and its terms forbid payments for unlicensed or illegal gambling. Before you pay with MiFinity anywhere, check:
- Licence where you live: find the number in the footer and confirm it on the regulator’s register; UK players need a UKGC licence.
- Both directions: the wallet should appear on the withdrawal tab too.
- Fees, limits and payout times on the casino’s banking page.
- Bonus terms: some casinos exclude certain e-wallets. Affiliate review sites say MiFinity deposits usually qualify, but no casino terms we found confirm it; read each offer and see our bonuses and free spins guide.
- Safer-gambling tools: deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion.
The same applies to MiFinity betting sites and to any online casino that accepts MiFinity.
A casino that takes this wallet has not passed a licence check. The terms say that accepting payments through the wallet is not an indication of a merchant's legality. Check the licence yourself.
— FAQsino Payments Desk, checked 20 October 2026New MiFinity casino? Check the licence first
A new MiFinity casino deserves extra care, because lists of MiFinity online casinos mix very different licences. Your own country’s regulator, or the Malta Gaming Authority where its licence is valid for you, brings that regulator’s rules on complaints, fairness and self-exclusion. A Curaรงao licence is a different framework, and at a casino not licensed where you live, local protections may not apply. UK players are better protected on UKGC-licensed sites.
Below this guide, the Top 5 Casinos Accepting MiFinity panel updates automatically, ranking casinos whose reviews list the wallet by FAQsino Trust Score for the country you visit from. For more, browse our casino reviews; we don’t hand-pick casino sites with MiFinity.
Gambling Blocks and Spending Controls
We found no gambling block, deposit limit or self-exclusion tool on the company’s site, terms or help centre, so the controls are yours and the casino’s:
- A separate Gaming purse keeps your gambling spend visible.
- Casino limits first: set deposit limits, time-outs or self-exclusion before you deposit. UK players can add GamStop, which covers gambling sites and apps run by Gambling Commission-licensed companies.
- Compare: Skrill and Neteller both offer an optional gambling block in their settings (see the table below).
- Bank controls: if your bank offers a gambling block, ask whether it covers e-wallet top-ups, which may not be recorded as gambling.
- A break: close the account under Profile Details. Under the EEA terms, remaining funds can be claimed for six years.
Gambling is for adults (18+) only. If it stops being fun, our responsible gambling page lists free, confidential help.
MiFinity vs Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter
All four are casino e-wallets, but different companies run them under different regulators.
| Wallet | Owner | UK provider | EEA provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| MiFinity | Directors Paul Kavanagh and Kieron Nolan (25โ50% each of the UK company) | UK company, FCA 900090 | Maltese company (MFSA) |
| Skrill | Paysafe Limited (NYSE: PSFE) | Skrill Limited, FCA 900001 | Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited (Central Bank of Ireland) |
| Neteller | Paysafe Limited (NYSE: PSFE) | Paysafe Financial Services Limited, FCA 900015 | Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited (Central Bank of Ireland) |
| MuchBetter | Rtekk Holdings Limited is group parent, per its terms; Investcorp bought MIR's business and assets in 2021 | MIR Limited UK Ltd, FCA 900704 | QuickPay Ltd (Ireland) for a Cypriot e-money institution |
| What you compare | MiFinity | Skrill | Neteller |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pay a casino from your balance | No fee listed | No fee | No fee (help centre) |
| Top up by Visa or Mastercard | 1.8% to 4%, by card region | 2.5% | 2.5% |
| Withdraw to a bank account | Fee applies, amount not published | 2.8%, minimum โฌ3.50 | 2.8%, minimum USD 3.50 |
| Currency conversion | Up to 2.99% (3.99% for exotic currencies) | 4.49% on top of Skrill's rate | 4.49% |
| Inactivity fee | โฌ1 a month after 12 or 24 months (sources differ) | โฌ5 a month after 6 months without a log-in or transaction | USD 5 a month after 6 months without a log-in or transaction |
| Optional gambling block | None found | Yes, under Settings > Spending control | Yes, with a 48-hour cool-down to switch it off |
MuchBetter charges no wallet fee on the casino leg either way and splits gaming from non-gaming money, but new UK sign-ups are closed. Skrill and Neteller are Paysafe brands with their own reviews. This wallet’s strengths are the eVoucher, many local top-ups and a free IBAN; its weak spot is the cost of loading and unloading. Compare more on our e-wallets page and the payment methods hub.
Why Your MiFinity Deposit Failed at a Casino
Start here before contacting support.
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Payment fails in the casino window | Not enough money in the wallet | Top up first; the wallet pays only from its balance |
| SMS code rejected | Code expired after five minutes | Request a new code |
| Card top-up stops at โฌ150 | First-deposit cap for unverified cards | Verify the card with the 4-digit statement code |
| Can't add a second card | First card not yet verified | Verify the first card |
| Account asks for documents | You passed โฌ150 in total | Upload ID, a selfie and proof of address |
| Credit card refused | UK casino rules or the Belgian gaming-wallet rule | Use a debit card or bank transfer |
| Top-up from someone else's card | Instruments must be in your name | Use your own card; a โฌ10 admin fee can apply |
| MiFinity withdrawal pending or account on hold | Identity (KYC) or anti-money-laundering checks, or a payout sent via Contacts | Complete any ID request and wait for the checks; use Withdraw, not Contacts |
| Status shows "On Hold KYC" | The payments team is reviewing the transaction | Wait; official guidance says up to 24 hours, then contact support |
| Verification documents rejected | Poor image quality, an invalid document or an unaccepted document type | Re-upload a clear, valid, accepted document |
| Card code missing or wrong | Code not found on the statement, or mistyped | Ask your card issuer, as the help guidance advises |
| Wallet missing from the cashier | Not offered in your country, or you live in a non-serviced country | Choose another method |
What We Could Not Verify
- The MFSA register entry for the Maltese entity, which we could not open.
- How the fee page defines EEA, non-EEA and interregional cards, and the fee for withdrawing to a bank account.
- An official timeframe for withdrawals to cards.
- Whether credit-card-funded balances are blocked from UK-licensed gambling.
- Any casino with a โฌ5 minimum for this wallet, or any bonus exclusion naming it.
- Android app details, as the Play Store page could not be read.
Our Take: Is It Worth Using at Casinos?
It does what a casino wallet should: casinos are paid from your balance rather than your card, and there are ways in that many rivals lack, from eVouchers to a free IBAN for EEA and UK users. Cost is the catch. Most top-ups carry a fee, card withdrawals cost โฌ1 to โฌ2, and the card-first rule decides where your money goes.
FCA authorisation and safeguarding are solid basics, while the FIAU settlement shows the Maltese entity’s anti-money-laundering controls needed fixing. Use it at a casino licensed where you live, and verify your account early.
