Luxon Pay is a multi-currency e-wallet backed by an FCA-authorised UK e-money institution, with EU e-money issued by a Lithuanian e-money company. You load it by bank transfer, card or a local method, hold 38+ currencies and pay merchants that list it. Its gambling foothold is poker: it became an official payment partner of the World Series of Poker in 2026.
Short answer: the wallet is a genuine, regulated product with fee-free payments to and from merchants and a prepaid Mastercard for UK and EU residents. For anyone looking for a Luxon Pay casino, the catch is reach: Luxon publishes no casino list, its terms never mention gambling, and the lists online are affiliate claims we could not verify. Bank payouts can take seven business days, and reviews are sharply split.
We checked every fact on 20 October 2026 against Luxon’s own pages, the FCA register and Companies House, unless a source is named. This guide is for adults aged 18 and over.
Key facts at a glance (checked 20 October 2026)
What Is Luxon Pay and How Does It Work?
If you are asking what Luxon Pay is, think of a stored-value account in your name that sits between your bank and the sites you pay. The help centre calls it a digital wallet for online payments and merchant deposits, with currency exchange and instant transfers to other users.
Once you are fully verified, the account comes with several tools:
- Multi-currency balances. 38 currencies, including EUR, GBP, USD, SEK, NOK, PLN, CAD and AUD; rates refresh every ten minutes.
- A personal IBAN. Fully verified EU and UK users get one in EUR and GBP, so they can top up by regular bank transfer.
- A prepaid Mastercard for UK and EU residents.
- A VIP programme. Four tiers (Standard, Classic, Premium and Noir), earned by the value of your deposits with merchants each quarter.
Higher tiers bring cheaper exchange and free SWIFT withdrawals, and you reach them by paying more to merchants.
Luxon Pay App and Login
The Luxon Pay app is on the App Store (iOS 15.6 or later) and Google Play, and the wallet also works in a browser. Sign-up needs KYC documents: a photo ID (passport or driving licence) and proof of address under three months old. Checks usually take up to 24 hours, there is no credit check, and you must finish within 72 hours or the account is deleted.
For the Luxon Pay login, start from luxon.com or the official app, never from an email link or an advert. Turn on two-factor authentication (Luxon recommends Google Authenticator), and remember support never asks for your password or PIN. Avoid VPNs and proxies: Luxon does not allow them and may restrict your account.
Who Is the Luxon Pay Owner? The Company Behind Luxon Pay Ltd
People search for “Luxon Pay Ltd”, but the UK company behind the brand is registered as Luxon Payments Ltd (FCA name: Luxon Payments Limited), company number 11462356. Incorporated on 12 July 2018 and based at Strelley Hall, Nottingham, it has been an FCA Authorised Electronic Money Institution, FRN 900929, since 3 September 2019. It publishes the iOS app.
So who is the Luxon Pay owner? Companies House shows a private chain: Luxon Payments Holdings Limited holds 75% or more of it, and Luxon Group Limited holds 75% or more of the holding company. Robert Thomas Yong and Anthony Ian Minnis are listed as people with significant control of Luxon Group Limited, each holding more than 25% and up to 50%. We found no stock-market listing.
Luxon’s own May 2026 announcement names Tom Waters as CEO; a Thomas Waters has been a director of the UK company since July 2024.
| Entity | Role | Regulator or register | Reference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Luxon Payments Ltd (UK) | E-money institution, app publisher | FCA | FRN 900929; company no. 11462356 |
| Luxon Group Limited (UK) | Ultimate UK parent | Companies House | No. 11614869 |
| Luxon EU ApS (Denmark) | Trading name "Luxon" in the EU | None named on luxon.com | Company no. 42394211 |
| UAB Monavate (Lithuania) | Issues EU e-money and the card | Bank of Lithuania (according to Luxon) | Company code 305628001 |
| Monavate Limited (UK) | UK card issuer, per Luxon's cardholder terms | FCA | Reference 901097 |
| Luxon Pay LLC (US) | US service with Lexicon Bank | Not checked | Delaware, per Luxon's announcement |
In the EU, Luxon is a trading name of Luxon EU ApS, and e-money and cards come from UAB Monavate, an e-money institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, according to Luxon. We could not open the Bank of Lithuania register to confirm the licence, so we print no Lithuanian licence number, and Luxon’s pages don’t say which company serves which customers. You can look up the UK firm on the FCA register and at Companies House.

Is Luxon Pay Safe and Legit?
On regulation, yes. The UK entity is FCA-authorised to issue e-money and provide payment services. Luxon’s EU terms say customer money is held in a safeguarding account at an EEA-authorised credit institution. Your balance earns no interest.
Safeguarding is not deposit insurance. The FCA register says the FSCS will not cover claims against the firm. Luxon’s EU terms say e-money is not covered by Lithuania’s deposit insurance scheme, and its cardholder terms say the same about the FSCS. If you keep large casino winnings in the wallet, you have less protection than in a bank account.
We found no fines, enforcement actions or data breaches in the sources we checked. The risk users actually report is friction: long verification checks and accounts placed under review.
Complaints go to [email protected]. Luxon says it replies within a couple of days but can take up to 15 business days, after which you can refer the matter to the relevant regulator in your jurisdiction.
Luxon Pay Casino and Betting Use: The Reality
Search for a Luxon Pay casino and you will find long affiliate lists. Here is what we could confirm and what we could not.
- Confirmed: Luxon’s fee page lists “deposits to merchants” and “withdrawals from merchants” as free at every tier, so merchants can take payments and pay money back.
- Confirmed: the poker link. In June 2026 it became an official payment partner of WSOP 2026, with buy-ins through the WSOP LIVE app (reported by PokerNews).
- Not confirmed: which online casinos and betting sites accept it today. Luxon’s terms and help centre never mention casinos or gambling; its only gaming reference we found is its US launch post, timed for the World Series of Poker. One large affiliate directory listed roughly half as many casinos for withdrawals as for deposits.
Luxon Pay betting and casino payments typically run through payment service providers (PSPs) plugged into the operator’s cashier (Luxon joined BridgerPay’s network in September 2026); one processor’s documentation describes a redirect to Luxon to approve deposits. Whether you see the option depends on the operator, its processor and your country. Luxon’s fee page describes merchant deposits as “instant”, though the casino can still hold a payment for its own checks. Because you pay from your balance, you don’t type card or bank details into the cashier.
How to Make a Luxon Pay Deposit at a Casino
-
Step 1
Open a Luxon account in the app or on the web, then upload your photo ID and proof of address. Finish within 72 hours or the account is deleted.
-
Step 2
Top up the wallet with at least EUR 20 (or the equivalent). Use your personal IBAN, a debit card in your own name, or a local method available in your region.
-
Step 3
At a licensed casino, open the cashier, pick Luxon Pay and enter the amount. Check the casino's own minimum and any bonus terms before you confirm.
-
Step 4
If the cashier redirects you to Luxon, sign in and approve the payment, completing any security check on your trusted device.
-
Step 5
Check that the money shows in your casino balance and in your Luxon history. If it does not, contact the casino first, then Luxon's 24/7 live chat.
Luxon Pay Deposit Options for Topping Up
What you see depends on your region and account:
- Bank: regular transfer to your personal IBAN (EUR or GBP), instant bank transfer and open banking (UK and EU, deposit only).
- Cards: Visa and Mastercard in your own name. You can store up to three cards, and prepaid cards are not accepted.
- Local methods: BLIK, Przelewy24, iDEAL, Bancontact, EPS, Multibanco, MB WAY, MyBank, Pix, Interac, SafetyPay, Trustly and vouchers.
- Crypto: listed by name only (see below).
Card top-ups are usually instant but can take 48 hours; local methods take a few hours to 48 hours. Money must come from an account in your own name, and Luxon sets no limit on regular bank transfers, though your bank may. Outside the EU and UK, live chat can arrange a manual bank deposit.
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Luxon Pay missing from the cashier | Not offered in your country or by that operator | Pick another method or another licensed casino |
| Casino payment declined | The casino's processor refused it | Ask the casino; Luxon has suggested trying another route |
| Card top-up declined | Per Luxon: issuer block, wrong card details, insufficient funds, details not matching your profile, or three cards already stored | Check the details, ask your card provider or remove an old card |
| Top-up rejected | Card or bank account not in your name, a business account or a prepaid card | Use your own debit card or bank account |
| Account restricted | Per Luxon: incomplete identity verification, unverified source of funds or outdated details (e.g. tax) | Contact support; no restoration time is published |
| Access restricted | Logged in through a VPN or proxy | Switch it off and contact support |
| Limit reached | Verification-based account limits | Check Account Limits; ask live chat to raise them |
| Payment fails at checkout | Wallet balance too low for the amount | Top up first, then retry |
| Withdrawal option missing | Only previously used methods are offered; EUR 20 must be deposited first | Deposit first, or use the same card or bank account |
| Withdrawal slow | Standard times: card up to 3 business days, bank or other methods up to 7 | Allow the standard time, then contact live chat |
Luxon Pay Withdrawal Time: Deposits vs Withdrawals
A deposit is one hop, from your wallet to the casino. A casino payout is at least two: first from the casino into your wallet, then from the wallet to your bank or card. Each hop has its own clock, and the casino controls the first one.
Luxon publishes times for the second hop only. Before your first Luxon Pay withdrawal you must have deposited at least EUR 20. You can only withdraw to methods you’ve used before, and card withdrawals go back to the card you deposited with.
| Stage | Who controls it | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| Casino approves the withdrawal | The casino (pending period, ID checks) | Varies by casino |
| Casino pays into your Luxon wallet | Casino and its processor | Not published by Luxon |
| Wallet to your card | Luxon and the card network | Instant to 3 business days |
| Wallet to your bank | Luxon and your bank | Usually under 1 business day, up to 7 |
| Wallet to another method | Luxon and the provider | Up to 7 business days |
Times also vary by location and bank, and SWIFT can take longer (see Luxon’s withdrawals help page). Slow bank withdrawals are a common complaint in reviews, so allow a week. If payout speed is your priority, compare options in our fast withdrawal casinos guide.
How to Cash Out Casino Winnings via Luxon Pay
-
Step 1
Request a withdrawal in the casino cashier and choose the wallet if it is offered for payouts. Casinos commonly send winnings back to the method you deposited with.
-
Step 2
Wait for the casino's pending period and any verification to finish. This step is set by the casino, not by Luxon.
-
Step 3
In Luxon, go to Transfer and then Make a Withdrawal on desktop, or tap Withdraw in the app. Choose a bank account or card you have used before.
-
Step 4
Pick SEPA for EUR where you can, because SWIFT costs EUR 20 on the Standard and Classic tiers. Keep your confirmation in case you need to raise a query.
Luxon Pay Fees and Limits
Luxon’s single fee table is split by VIP tier, set by your merchant deposits each quarter: Standard from EUR 0, Classic from EUR 3,000 to 9,999, Premium from EUR 10,000 to 29,999 and Noir above EUR 30,000. A tier lasts for the rest of that quarter and the next one. Gambling-relevant rows from the official fee page (20 October 2026) are below; check the app for current terms.
| Service | Standard | Classic | Premium | Noir |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deposit to a merchant | Free | Free | Free | Free |
| Withdrawal from a merchant | Free | Free | Free | Free |
| Bank top-up to personal IBAN | Free | Free | Free | Free |
| Card top-up | Free* | Free* | Free* | Free* |
| Open banking / local method top-up | May apply | May apply | May apply | Free / may apply |
| Currency exchange | 2% | 1% | 0.5% | Free |
| SEPA bank withdrawal | Free | Free | Free | Free |
| SWIFT bank withdrawal | EUR 20 | EUR 20 | Free | Free |
| Card or local-method withdrawal | Free | Free | Free | Free |
| ATM withdrawal (card) | 1% | 1% | 1% | 1% |
* The table shows card top-ups as free, but a footnote says card and local-method fees vary by region and provider and are shown at the time of payment. At Noir, open banking top-ups are free and other local methods may still charge. We found no inactivity fee on the fee page. Luxon’s EU terms do let it close an account after a year with no transactions, giving two months’ notice.
Luxon Pay Withdrawal Fees: A EUR 200 Worked Example
Imagine a Standard-tier player whose casino pays EUR 200 into the wallet. The casino payout itself costs nothing on Luxon’s side. What happens next depends on where the money goes:
- EUR to a euro bank account by SEPA: no Luxon fee, so EUR 200 arrives.
- Converted to SEK first: the 2% exchange fee takes EUR 4. Luxon’s help centre says SEK withdrawals go by SWIFT, which costs EUR 20 at Standard, leaving roughly EUR 176 worth of kronor before any bank charges.
- Back to your card: no Luxon withdrawal fee, though a currency conversion would still cost 2%.
The help centre says SWIFT applies to USD, NOK, SEK, DKK, PLN, CHF and CAD to any country, to EUR sent outside SEPA and to GBP sent outside the UK. In those cases, those withdrawal fees are the costs to plan around.
Luxon Pay Withdrawal Limits
Luxon doesn’t publish account limits as figures. Its help centre says limits depend on your verification level and merchant activity, not on your VIP tier. See yours under Account Limits in the app; live chat can raise them, usually within a working day. Card limits are in the card section; casinos set their own.
Luxon Pay Card: The Prepaid Mastercard
According to PokerNews, the Luxon Pay Mastercard was launched for UK and EU residents in March 2024. Luxon’s cardholder terms describe a prepaid, stored-value card: it spends money already in your wallet (from your EUR or GBP balance) rather than borrowing. Monavate issues it under licence from Mastercard. Our Mastercard review explains the network itself.
- Where: offered only to residents of the 27 EU countries and the UK listed on the help page.
- Delivery: 10 to 15 business days, but you can use the card number online as soon as you order.
- Not supported: Apple Pay and Google Pay are “currently not available”, and you can’t use the card at petrol stations.
- Cost: the physical card costs EUR 20 at Standard and Classic and is free at Premium and Noir. A no-fee ordering offer ended on 15 October 2026.
| Limit | Standard | Classic, Premium and Noir |
|---|---|---|
| Per card transaction | EUR 10,000 | EUR 20,000 |
| Daily card spend | EUR 30,000 | EUR 60,000 |
| Weekly card spend | EUR 100,000 | EUR 200,000 |
| Monthly card spend | EUR 200,000 | EUR 480,000 |
| ATM per transaction / per day | EUR 500 / EUR 1,000 | EUR 500 / EUR 1,000 |
Is There a Luxon Pay Credit Card?
No. We found no Luxon Pay credit card: the terms say the card is not a credit or charge card, and there is no interest.
Credit cards matter in a different way, though. Luxon’s help centre talks about topping up with a “credit or debit card”, and it doesn’t say whether credit-funded money is blocked from gambling payments.
In Great Britain, the UK Gambling Commission has banned gambling with credit cards since 14 April 2020. The Commission says operators should check that e-wallet money was not loaded from a credit card. If you’re in the UK, top up with a debit card or a bank transfer.
Luxon Pay Crypto: What Is Actually Offered
Luxon lists “crypto” as one of its deposit methods, but it publishes no coins, fees, speeds or limits, and it has no separate crypto product we could find. It says nothing about buying, selling or holding crypto in the wallet. This is not financial advice, and crypto is high-risk.
Luxon Pay Countries and Currencies
Luxon’s help centre says the wallet is “available in 132 countries worldwide”, but it publishes no country list and no list of restricted countries. Third-party figures range from “more than 120” to “over 170”. The only published list is for the card: the 27 EU states and the UK.
The quickest test is to start registration, where your country of residence also sets your home currency. Exchange is open only to fully verified accounts, and a casino may not offer the wallet everywhere it works.
Choosing Luxon Pay Betting Sites and Casinos
We don’t hand-pick “top gambling sites with Luxon Pay”, because a list is only useful if each site is licensed where you live. Before you pick a casino with Luxon Pay in its cashier, or any of the betting sites with Luxon Pay on offer, check five things:
- Licence in your country. Look the operator up on your national regulator’s register; our gambling authorities hub explains each one.
- Deposits and withdrawals. Confirm that the wallet works for payouts too, not just deposits.
- Fees, limits and payout times on the casino’s side, which are separate from Luxon’s.
- Bonus terms. Some casinos exclude e-wallet deposits from offers; check before you claim anything from our bonuses and free spins pages.
- Safer-gambling tools such as deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion.
The automatic “Top 5 Casinos Accepting Luxon Pay” panel directly below this guide ranks sites by FAQsino Trust Score for your location. For deeper checks, browse our casino reviews, including mobile casinos if you mainly play in the app.
An e-money licence covers the wallet, not the casino. Whether a Luxon Pay betting site is safe depends on its own gambling licence in your country, so check that before you check the cashier.
— FAQsino Payments DeskGambling Blocks and Spending Controls
Some wallets and banks let you block gambling payments. Luxon documents no such feature, and its terms contain no gambling rules beyond requiring lawful use. If you want guard rails, build them yourself:
- Casino tools first. Set deposit limits, reality checks and time-outs in every casino account you use.
- National self-exclusion covers licensed sites in your country, for example GAMSTOP in Great Britain, Spelpaus in Sweden or ROFUS in Denmark.
- Bank blocks have a gap. A gambling block on your bank card may not stop a casino payment made from money already sitting in the wallet. If you rely on one, consider not using an e-wallet for gambling.
- Watch the VIP ladder. Tiers reward how much you deposit with merchants. Cheaper fees are never a reason to deposit more.
If gambling stops being fun, our responsible gambling page lists free, confidential support.
Luxon Pay Trustpilot Reviews: What Users Report
When we read the Luxon Pay Trustpilot profile (luxon.com) on 20 October 2026, it had a TrustScore of 3.7 from 110 reviews. That average hides a split: about 49% of reviews give five stars and 41% give one star, with little in between. Luxon had replied to 92% of negative reviews.
- Praise: an easy app, quick support (including in-person desks at poker events), multi-currency handling, the personal IBAN and convenient poker buy-ins.
- Complaints: bank withdrawals taking a week or more, repeated document requests, accounts held under review or closed without a clear reason, declined merchant deposits and currency-exchange costs.
Watch out for a lookalike. Trustpilot also hosts profiles for “luxon-pay-casino-canada.com”, which is an affiliate casino directory, not Luxon.
Luxon Pay vs Skrill and Neteller
The natural comparison is with Skrill and Neteller. All three are FCA-authorised e-money firms. Luxon’s standard exchange fee is lower, and its fee page shows no inactivity charge. On the other side, both Paysafe wallets offer crypto trading in selected countries, which Luxon does not.
| Feature | Luxon Pay | Skrill | Neteller |
|---|---|---|---|
| UK regulator | FCA, FRN 900929 | FCA, FRN 900001 | FCA, FRN 900015 |
| Standard FX fee | 2% | 4.49% | 4.49% |
| Inactivity fee | None on fee page | EUR 5/month after 6 months | USD 5/month after 6 months |
| Crypto trading | None found | Yes (selected countries) | Yes (selected countries) |
For a wider view of wallets, see our e-wallets hub and the full payment methods guide.
What We Could Not Verify
- Which licensed casinos and bookmakers accept it today, and whether any exclude it from bonuses.
- The 132 countries and any restricted list. Luxon publishes neither.
- Account limits as figures, and the details of the crypto deposit option.
- Whether Luxon blocks credit-card money from reaching gambling sites.
- Luxon’s licences in Canada and the US, which it mentions but we could not check on a register.
Our Take on Luxon Pay for Casino Players
Luxon Pay is a properly regulated wallet with a clear fee table. Payments to and from merchants are free, exchange is cheaper than at the big incumbents, and it has genuine partnerships in poker. If your chosen Luxon Pay casino or poker site offers it for both deposits and payouts, it’s a reasonable choice, especially for euro payouts to a SEPA bank, which are free.
It is harder to recommend as your main casino wallet. Its casino reach is unclear, Luxon documents no gambling block, payouts in currencies such as SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN or USD go by SWIFT and cost EUR 20 on the lower tiers, and reviews describe sometimes slow verification.
