Jeton is a multi-currency e-wallet and app, run from London, that lets you top up a balance, pay online merchants such as casinos and betting sites, exchange currencies and cash out to a bank. You approve each payment in the app with Face ID or a fingerprint, and, according to the company, the casino never sees your card or bank details.
Short answer: it works well for fast deposits at Jeton casinos that offer it, and those casinos can pay winnings back into the wallet. The catch is the structure behind it. The UK company is only an FCA-registered agent of a separate e-money issuer, the legacy wallet site names an offshore bank in Dominica as its operator, top-ups can cost up to 6.5%, and we found no gambling block in the app.
We checked the facts below on 20 October 2026 against the company’s own pages, the FCA register, Companies House and Dominica’s financial regulator, and we name any third-party source we rely on. This guide is for adults aged 18 and over.
At a glance (checked 20 October 2026)
What Is Jeton Wallet? The App in Plain English
If you are asking “what is Jeton Wallet”, think of a prepaid account on your phone. You load money from a bank transfer, a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or a local method, and hold it in one of about 20 currencies (the figure the company gave in May 2025). From that balance you can:
- pay merchants, by choosing the wallet at the checkout and approving the payment in the app;
- send money to other users by email or User ID, which the help centre says happens instantly;
- exchange currencies inside the app, with the rate shown before you confirm;
- withdraw by bank transfer, “Send to Card” or other options listed for your country.
The naming is confusing. The help centre and the older legacy website still say “Jeton Wallet”, while the current site and the App Store use the plain brand name. They are the same consumer service. There is also an optional payment card (virtual or physical, Visa, Mastercard or UnionPay depending on region) that spends the same balance.
You need to be 18 or over and must verify your identity (KYC) before you can use the account: a photo ID and a selfie, sometimes proof of address. The help centre puts processing at about two business days, sometimes longer.
Is It a Bank? What "Jeton Bank" Means
Searches for the bank lead to Jeton Bank Limited, a company registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica. Dominica’s Financial Services Unit lists it on its public register as an “Offshore Bank”. Its old web address now redirects to the group’s business-banking pages, which offer companies a dedicated IBAN and multi-currency accounts.
So yes, a bank operates under the brand, but it is an offshore bank, not a UK or EU bank, and the personal wallet is not a bank account. The legacy wallet site names that bank as its operator, and the only general terms we could read (a business agreement) are issued by it.
Jeton Express, Coins and Other Names That Do Not Exist
We searched both official websites, the business site, the US information site and all 98 help-centre articles for “Jeton Express” and found no such product. The same goes for a “Jeton coin”: no Jeton-branded token or cryptocurrency appears on any official page. The wallet holds ordinary currencies.
The confusion is spelling: the TON blockchain’s token standard is called “jetton” and is unrelated to this wallet.
Who Is Behind Jeton and Who Regulates It
“Jeton” is a trading name shared by several companies, and each has a different status. The UK company, LA Orange Limited, says on its website that it is authorised by the FCA. The FCA register is more precise: LA Orange is an EMD Agent, which means it can distribute or redeem e-money and provide certain payment services on behalf of an e-money institution. It is not one itself.
That institution is Financial House Limited, an Authorised Electronic Money Institution since 16 October 2018, which also issues the Jeton Card. Here is the full picture as the registers showed it.
| Company | Role | Regulator and status | Reference |
|---|---|---|---|
| LA Orange Limited, trading as Jeton | UK consumer service, The Shard, London | FCA: EMD Agent of Financial House Limited since 15 Nov 2018 | FRN 902088; company 11535714 |
| Financial House Limited | E-money institution; issues the card account and card | FCA: Authorised Electronic Money Institution since 16 Oct 2018 | FRN 902039; company 10459236 |
| Jeton Bank Limited | Business banking; operator named on the legacy wallet site | Dominica FSU register: "Offshore Bank" | Company 2022/C0175 (per the company) |
| LA Orange CY Limited | Cyprus company named in the App Store listing | Claims a Central Bank of Cyprus licence, no. 115.1.3.66 | Not verified on the register |
Two more public-record details are worth knowing. Companies House shows that control of LA Orange has changed hands three times, most recently on 4 August 2026, and its accounts were listed as overdue when we checked (the latest filed accounts run to 31 December 2023). Neither is a finding of wrongdoing, but both are things a careful customer would want to see. You can check them on the Companies House record.

Is Jeton Safe and Legit for Casino Money?
On security features, it does reasonably well. Sign-in uses device verification and a six-digit PIN, and each payment is approved by Face ID, fingerprint or passcode under strong customer authentication. The company also claims ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certification, which we did not verify independently.
Protection of your balance is weaker than many players assume:
- The FCA register says FSCS compensation is not available if Financial House Limited or LA Orange goes out of business owing you money.
- We found no official page stating how customer money is safeguarded, though the register notes Financial House “may be required to safeguard funds”.
- Dominica has no deposit-insurance scheme for offshore banks, according to a legal guide we consulted.
Our advice is to treat the wallet as a payment tool, not a place to park large sums.
How Jeton Casino Payments Work
At any online casino with Jeton in the cashier, the wallet behaves like other e-wallets such as Skrill. You pick it from the list of methods, enter the amount, and confirm in the app (iOS, Android or web), so it suits mobile play as well. The casino receives the money from the wallet, not from your bank or card, which is why it never sees those details.
Payouts can flow the other way too, as the company’s merchant FAQ puts it: you can “top up” with your account “or withdraw money” at partner merchants.
Three things decide whether this works for you. The casino must offer the wallet in your country, the names on both accounts should match, and your wallet must already be verified. The casino will run its own ID and age checks too, so an e-wallet does not make you anonymous. Minimum deposits are set by each casino. Affiliate guides we read quote about โฌ10 to โฌ20 as common and disagree on maximums, so confirm both in the cashier.
The company’s own promotions page advertises offers from betting and casino brands without saying where they are licensed, so check the licence first.
How to Deposit at a Casino with Jeton
-
Step 1
Sign up on the official website or in the app (the company says it takes about three minutes), then upload your photo ID and a selfie. Allow around two business days for approval.
-
Step 2
Top up from a bank account, card or local method in your own name. The fee for that method is shown before you confirm, so pick a free one where you can.
-
Step 3
At the cashier of a casino licensed in your country, choose the wallet, enter an amount above the casino's minimum deposit and continue.
-
Step 4
Approve the payment in the app with Face ID, fingerprint or passcode. The balance usually appears in your casino account straight away.
Deposits vs Withdrawals at Jeton Casinos: A Reality Check
At most online casinos with Jeton, deposits are the easy half. An affiliate-style review site covering Jeton casinos (next.io, updated 19 October 2026) reports that deposits are credited instantly once approved in the app, and payouts to the wallet typically take one to two working days, depending on the casino.
That payout time is mostly the casino’s doing: its pending period, its own verification and the hours its finance team works. Once the money reaches your wallet, moving it to your bank adds the wallet’s own processing time. The help centre says bank-transfer withdrawals are handled Monday to Friday and typically take 48 hours once sent for processing.
So a realistic trip from casino to bank is a few working days, not minutes. If speed matters most, check payout times at Jeton casinos against our fast withdrawal casinos before you sign up.
| Stage | Who controls it | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| Casino reviews your withdrawal request | The casino | Varies by casino (check its pending period) |
| Payout reaches the wallet | The casino | 1 to 2 working days (next.io) |
| You send it to your bank | The wallet (Mon to Fri only) | Usually about 48 hours |
| Status shows "Waiting" | The wallet | Up to 2 business days |
How to Withdraw Casino Winnings Through Jeton
-
Step 1
Check that the casino lists the wallet for withdrawals, not only deposits, and finish any verification it asks for.
-
Step 2
Request the payout to the same wallet you deposited from. Casinos often require winnings to go back to the deposit method first.
-
Step 3
When the money lands, open Send in the app to see the withdrawal methods for your country, such as manual bank transfer or Send to Card.
-
Step 4
Withdraw only to an account in your own name. Third-party and business accounts are rejected, and the status moves from Pending to Waiting to Approved.
| What happened | Likely reason | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Payment declined at the cashier | Balance too low, wrong currency or above the casino limit | Top up or exchange first; check the casino limits |
| Wallet missing from the cashier | Not offered by that casino or in your country | Pick another method, or one of the casino sites with Jeton in our reviews |
| Top-up rejected | Card or bank account not in your name | Use your own method; third-party funding is treated as fraud |
| Account cannot pay yet | Identity verification not finished | Complete ID and selfie checks |
| Extra documents requested | Source-of-funds check after a certain volume | Supply the declaration and evidence asked for |
| Bank withdrawal failed | Wrong sort code, or a business or third-party account | Recheck details; use a personal account in your name |
If Something Goes Wrong: Support and Complaints
Jeton offers 24/7 live chat and publishes separate UK and EU complaints policies on its website. For the UK company, the FCA register says you may complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service. If a casino licensed in Britain will not pay, complain to the casino first. If you are still unhappy after eight weeks, you can take it to a free, independent ADR provider, as the Gambling Commission explains.
Jeton Wallet Fees and Limits (Checked 20 October 2026)
Opening and keeping an account costs nothing, and the help centre says there is no monthly or yearly maintenance fee. What you pay depends on how you put money in. The official fee page shows each top-up method with a sender fee, a receiver fee (free on every row) and a per-transaction limit. Pick your country on the page to see the rows that apply to you. A separate Withdraw tab lists cash-out fees; some countries showed no withdrawal rows, so check yours.
We found no separate fee for paying a merchant, but we also found no page that states such payments are free, so check the summary screen in the app before you confirm.
| Top-up method | Limit per transaction | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Local bank transfer | 10 to 10,000 EUR or GBP | Free |

| Europe | Local bank transfer | 10 to 2,500 EUR | Free |
| Europe | Send to Card (instant) | 5 to 10 EUR as listed | Free |
| Sweden | Zimpler withdrawal (instant) | Not clearly shown | Free |
Worked Example: Funding ยฃ400 of Casino Deposits in a Month
Say you are in the UK and top up ยฃ100 four times in a month. By card at 3.5%, each top-up costs ยฃ3.50, so ยฃ14 in total. By free local bank transfer in GBP, the same ยฃ400 costs nothing on the published table. Over a year, that is the difference between ยฃ168 and ยฃ0 for the same play. Cashing out costs money too: on the UK table, sending ยฃ400 of winnings to your bank by bank transfer costs 2.5%, or ยฃ10.
A few other costs can bite. The card’s fee document (dated January 2026) lists 0.99 (USD or EUR) for a virtual card, 39.99 for a physical card and 0.5% for UK cash withdrawals. It also charges 0.50 when a card payment is refused for lack of funds. No percentage for currency exchange is published; the rate and fee appear before you confirm.
Fee Figures Quoted Elsewhere That We Could Not Confirm
Some review sites quote a yearly maintenance fee of about $10, a 3.95% currency-exchange charge, a 2% fee for sending money to another user or a 1% fee on crypto cash-outs. None of these figures appears for the personal wallet on the official fee page, and the help centre says there is no monthly or yearly maintenance fee. The amount shown in the app before you confirm is the one that counts.
Jeton Cash Voucher Casino Deposits: Still an Option?
Jeton Cash is a separate prepaid voucher: a 19-digit code with a value and expiry date, sold through resellers and redeemable at merchants or into a wallet. That made “Jeton Cash casino” deposits possible without a bank card. As a voucher, it was a deposit tool: any winnings had to go to a wallet or another method.
Its status today is unclear. Dundle, one of the resellers, says the vouchers were discontinued worldwide from January 2026 and that remaining codes could be used until 30 August 2026. Yet the official fee page still shows a row for it (instant, free, 5 to 250 EUR). We found no statement from the company either way, so do not buy a code without confirming it can still be redeemed.
Choosing Jeton Casinos and Betting Sites Safely
People search for top Jeton online casinos, a Jeton casino list or the top casinos that accept Jeton deposits. We do not hand-pick “best” sites, because the right online casino that accepts Jeton for one reader may be unlicensed for another. Run these checks first:
- Licence: the casino must hold a licence for your country, such as the UK Gambling Commission for British players. The terms we read ban only illegal gambling, so this check is yours.
- Both directions: confirm the cashier offers deposits and withdrawals to the wallet.
- Costs and timing: compare minimum deposits, withdrawal limits and payout times.
- Bonus terms: some casinos exclude e-wallet deposits from offers, so read the terms on our bonuses page.
- Safer-gambling tools: deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion.
The Top 5 Casinos panel below this guide does the matching for you: it shows only online casinos accepting Jeton, ranked by the FAQsino Trust Score and tailored to your country. For more casino sites that accept Jeton deposits, browse our casino reviews, which list each site’s cashier options.
Betting Sites and Bookmakers
Sportsbooks use the same cashier flow as Jeton casino sites, so the same rules apply to Jeton betting sites, Jeton bookmakers and any other betting sites that accept Jeton: a licence for your country, withdrawals supported and bonus terms read first.
Do Jeton Deposits Qualify for Casino Bonuses?
We found no bonus terms that single out Jeton, but that proves little, because exclusions are set casino by casino. Some casinos leave e-wallet deposits out of welcome and reload offers, so look for an excluded payment methods clause before you deposit, and ask live chat if the wording is unclear.
UK Players: Cards Inside the Wallet
UK-licensed operators have been banned from accepting credit-card gambling since 14 April 2020, and the regulator’s guidance says casinos taking e-wallet payments should make sure the money was not loaded from a credit card. The wallet’s fee page lists “credit/debit card” top-ups but does not explain how credit cards are treated. If you are in Britain, top up by debit card or bank transfer.
We also found no source showing that UK-licensed casinos widely accept Jeton, so confirm it is in the cashier of a UKGC-licensed site before you rely on it.
Casino med Jeton Wallet: Notes for Nordic Players
Swedish searches such as “casino med Jeton Wallet”, or simply “casino Jeton Wallet”, have an easy answer on funding: the fee page has SEK rows for Swish, Zimpler, card and Apple Pay or Google Pay top-ups, so funding in kronor is straightforward. The licence matters more: Swedish players are best protected at sites licensed by Spelinspektionen, which also runs the national Spelpaus self-exclusion register.
Gambling Blocks and Spending Controls
Unlike Neteller and Skrill, which both offer a gambling block, we found no such feature in this app or its help centre. That gap matters if you want a hard stop on casino spending. These tools fill it:
- Casino limits: set deposit, loss and session limits in every casino account, before you play.
- Self-exclusion: GAMSTOP in Great Britain and Spelpaus in Sweden cover all licensed sites in those markets.
- Bank blocks: a gambling block on your bank card may not stop money moving into an e-wallet first, because the bank sees a wallet top-up. Ask your bank how its block handles that.
- Card freeze: you can suspend the card in the app at any time.
- Account closure: the help centre says you can close the account through live chat; empty the balance first.
If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, our responsible gambling guide lists free, confidential help.
Without a gambling block in the wallet, the controls are in your hands: set limits at the casino before your first deposit, not after a bad night.
— FAQsino Payments DeskJeton Crypto: What the Official Pages Show
The help centre carries two short articles, “How to deposit with crypto” and “How to withdraw Cryptocurrency”, and its withdrawal guide lists crypto among the most used ways to withdraw. But the videos embedded in both articles were no longer available on YouTube when we checked, neither article lists coins, networks, fees or countries in text, and the fee page shows no crypto rows. So we cannot confirm what is live, or where.
Nothing here is financial advice, and crypto is high-risk.
Jeton Review Scores: What Users Report
On Trustpilot the service scored 3.2 out of 5 from 721 reviews when we checked on 20 October 2026, and the split is stark: 51% five-star and 38% one-star. Happy users praise a clean app, quick deposits and handy virtual cards. Unhappy ones describe slow support, long verification with repeated document requests, withdrawals held or cancelled, and accounts restricted without a clear reason. The company replies to a lot of the negative reviews.
Reviews are self-selected, so read them as a list of risks to plan around, not as a verdict.
Jeton vs Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter
The two big Paysafe wallets are the obvious alternatives, and the differences are mostly about regulation and controls. Both are run by authorised e-money institutions in their own name, publish a full fee schedule and offer a gambling block. Its strength is the free local top-up options it lists for several markets. MuchBetter, the app-only wallet in our MuchBetter review, is also an FCA-authorised e-money institution, but we found no gambling block there either. For more options, see our e-wallets guide.

What We Could Not Verify
Being clear about gaps is part of a fair review. We could not confirm:
- the exact list of countries (the company says 27, its homepage “more than 25”, and the older site claims far more);
- withdrawal fees for every country (some showed no rows), a currency-exchange percentage or wallet-wide limits;
- any official safeguarding statement for customer money;
- the Cyprus licence that LA Orange CY Limited claims, which we could not check on the central bank’s register;
- whether the vouchers can still be redeemed;
- which crypto features are live, and in which countries.
Our Take: Who Should Use It at Casinos
For Jeton casino payments it does the basic job well: deposits are quick, your bank details stay private, and casinos that support it can pay back into the wallet.
The trade-offs are real, though. The regulatory set-up is layered and easy to misread, we found no gambling block, card and PayPal top-ups get expensive, and users report long verification and held withdrawals. Choose Jeton online casino sites licensed where you live, and compare other options in our payment methods hub or our mobile casinos guide.
